Hotspot issues in 2024102100

Open oppressor1761 opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

P8P The first and the most serious issue is Hotspot sometimes is unusable. Steps:(not 100% reproducible. If not, repeat step 2-3 or let hotspot be on for longer in step 2)

  1. Restart
  2. Turn on hotspot
  3. Turn off hotspot manually. Then there's a error log like #3502
  4. Turn on hotspot again. If failed, retry for multiple times. Actual behaviour: hotspot can not be turned on unless I restart the phone.

The second issue:hotspot cannot be turned off automatically even there's no other device connecting to it.

Update: Wi-Fi is also not usable in step 4. I can turn on Wi-Fi but there's no SSID showing.

Is this still an issue after 2024102400 update?

The problem still exists. In 2024102400, P8P, there's no error logs at all. My P8P has been turned on for 33 hours and I have used hotspot feature for several times during the time. Everything worked fine until just now I decide to try turn on hotspot again. The result is hotspot can not be turned on. Also WiFi shows no SSID at home so I can only use celluar network now. I'm sure my router works fine.

System log | E+ 680f6d23b015.txt This is the error log in Settings-System-View Logs. The failed tries to turn on hotspot and WiFi starts from 10-26 14:39:07 so you can view the logs from there.

Update: I cannot reproduce it in these 5 days although I use hotspot daily. I'm not sure if it's solved.

oppressor1761 avatar Oct 31 '24 09:10 oppressor1761

It is resolved
