Proxy Support
I am aware that VPNs and Proxies using the VPN slot by all means negate the need of this feature.
However I think there are a few genuine niche use cases where this feature. Namely running a Proxy under a VPN could be quite useful.
This is also kind of a idea to reduce unnecessary usage of the Tor Browser due to it's security issues. Of course still wouldn't solve the fingerprinting concerns but I still think it would be better if feasible for Vanadium to support this feature as it prevents the user from having to move the work to a much less secure browser like one that is based on Gecko or the Web View.
Overall it is again pretty niche. But I do think is worth considering if feasible.
Regardless of the response thank you for making basically the only browser that is competent and tolerable on mobile devices. ❤
Small edit I do apologize in advance if there is an existing issue for this. I could not find one but maybe I was using wrong tags and keywords.

Do you mean useful in the sense that your ISP will see you're using a VPN device-wide and not the proxy-Vanadium wide? If so, I think that benefit would be better suited for the proxy to solve; that is, hiding the fact you're using it to your ISP by masking network traffic.
You can set a proxy in Wi-Fi settings
I'm pretty sure that is system wide, not Vanadium-wide, though.
