What are the prerequisites?

Does the phone have to be rooted? Any other prerequisites? Could you please update README.md accordingly, please?

The device does not need to be rooted, as long as you can place apps inside the system partition. (In most cases this does mean the device is rooted, though.)

It only supports up to Android 4.4. It might maybe work on Android 5.0 with a binary patch (see #3), anything above that is untested. I haven't used it myself in a while!
