deleting items next to drop pods doesn't work

Deleting items placed in the world by players works correctly, but deleting items next to drop pods results in them coming back. In case it matters, the same thing happens with the online save editor. For reference, items placed in the world by players show up in the format "Persistent_Level:PersistentLevel.BP_ItemPickup_Spawnable_C_2145524049", while items next to drop pods are of format "Persistent_Exploration_2:PersistentLevel.FGItemPickup_Spawnable_299" or sometimes just "Exploration" instead of "Exploration_2".
