we need a logo for our engine!

Yes, you are soooo right! Any idea? Marte is italian for Mars, god of war, right? So maybe a sword, shield, a swift sword movement, some warrior who fights for you to get your game done ;-) A fist with a sword in its hand? Or some ancient helmet?

We could use one of these from openclipart.org as they are public domain and without any copyright. http://www.openclipart.org/search/?query=greek+helmet

A bit of coloring and then adding the name ("Marte" or "Marte Engine") in some nice font should do for a start. Do you have any preference for one of those helmets? I like Greek helmet 9 and 10 (at the 10 helmet I would remove the horse). If you choose one I would give it a try.

Okay, I'll give it a go over the weekend. Any text you prefer and the placement of the text? Across the feathers below the helmet or the text left or right of the helmet? Or above or below? Any input reduces the work ;-) Text could be "Marte", "Marte Engine", "ME"...
