Charts silently failing to draw

iron-ajax has the attribute verbose which, when true, logs error messages to the console. Could something link this be added to google-chart? In my experience, i struggle to understand why my chart isn't showing since it seems to silently fail if something is wrong.

My opinion would be "the more output, the better" to help identify where things are failing.

I think an option like this would probably be best left enabled in your development setup as opposed to the production element.

It shouldn't be silently failing, though. Do you have an example? Errors are usually shown in the console or in the chart HTML.
