get-gcemetadata crashes powershell

hi everytime I do a get-gcemetadata ex: "Get-GceMetadata -AppendETag -Recurse", it crashes powershell a few seconds of listing the results, I have tried in 3 different windows instances in 2012r2 and 2019 server.
