Endpoints do not load in webapp on internet explorer 10

When the page loads on internet explorer 10, the console displays these messages, and the endpoints fail to load:

SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'value' of undefined or null reference 
proxy.html, line 7 character 51

This is happening when the app is deployed to either the development server or to a real app engine instance.
