Devtools pane should emphasize page-specific information over generic Privacy Sandbox docs
Describe the bug
The devtools pane looks like
instead of showing a summary of the post-3pc state of the page. Similarly, the Site Boundaries page within this tool looks like
Private Advertising looks like
If I knew enough to install this extension, I've also already seen the overall proposals. What I want is information about the site I'm debugging, and this arrangement of UI makes that hard to find.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Install https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/privacy-sandbox-analysis/ehbnpceebmgpanbbfckhoefhdibijkef?pli=1
- Open Devtools
- Click on the Privacy Sandbox tab.
Expected behavior
It would be reasonable to start with
For the Private Advertising page on a site without ads, you could just say that no ads were detected, so this page is probably not useful.

@jyasskin Thanks for the feedback and suggestions!
The reason why the extension does not start directly on the Cookie analysis landing page is that the extension is intended to go beyond just 3PCD, providing information, educational content, and analysis capabilities related to the different aspects of Privacy Sandbox. The development has prioritized the Cookies section, but further capabilities on the other sections (e.g. Site Boundaries) will be added as we move forward.
The goal of the Private Advertising section is to add information and insights on Topics, Attribution Reporting, and so on. At the moment there are no specific plans to add capabilities beyond educational/information content. That may change in the future.
You are correct in pointing out the the URLs currently embedded in each of the landing pages for each section; those pointers will be updated soon with pointers to the content of the developer site the Privacy Sandbox DevRel team is building.
