Maybe we should holistically think about which links should open as target=_blank. My personal bias as a user is: if I'm using an app site, then links to a different content site should open in another tab. I realize that's entirely subjective, though.

I've just taken the habit of middle-clicking links I want to open in a new tab, but I realize this is entirely subjective, too. I'll go through the links and see which ones should probably open in a new tab.
