Explain network timings
@Garbee do you have a ticket tracking the network stuff you're working on?
Regardless I wanted to capture these items, so they go into the docs.
What do the various timings in network mean?

I don't have anything tracking the DGC work, actually forgot about it. Let's assign this to me and it can serve as an action item and bucket of things to cover.
Thanks for digging in and getting the answers to the hollow bars! So good to know what it means finally. :smile:
And I agree with Paul that instead of naming it "queueing"/"stalled", using "postponed"/"awaiting socket" time ranges would make the waterfall diagram much clearer to understand (to me at least).
I believe we discussed renaming before in the issue tracker. Decided against it since what we have aligns with other browsers and is fairly standard technically speaking. If you wish to discuss that again though, you can file a new issue (since I'm having trouble finding the old issue) for getting things renamed.
Well I "feel" the renamed version is a better fit; however I'm not feeling too strong to open a new issue if you've already discussed this and settled with a decision.
At any rate, naming is hard.
