Feature owners should be notified about approvals not being requested

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I've observed a pattern of API owners asking feature owners on their I2S threads to also request the other reviews in chromestatus.com. Ideally owners would be notified about this requirement before API owners see the I2S thread to save them some time.

Describe the solution you'd like It would probably be helpful to notify feature owners about this requirement when they go to generate the I2S template to hopefully save API owners a bit of time. Maybe at some other points in time as a feature progresses as well?

We do show a "preflight" dialog before generating the intent email. It lists any missing fields as well as any missing prerequisite gates. We do allow the feature owners to proceed through that dialog, but maybe we could make that part strict.

Excellent. Not sure we want to block feature owners there, but agreed that making sure that language is fairly strict would be good.
