Unable to debug instrumented code

As soon as I am adding Ghostwriter (ghostwriter-jdk-v8, 0.7.2) as a project dependency to my project (maven) I am unable to set any line-breakpoints anymore (NetBeans 8.2). Compiler target=v1.8. No explicit compiler plugin configuration.

Thanks for the info @chwidmer, I'll look into other IDEs as well and pick the issue up after Java 9 support has been rolled out.
