Ironically I may have encountered this bug just last night. I discussed it briefly with @Baezon and we will try poking at it a bit more. The symptom I saw...

@Baezon discovered the cause of the acceleration and it was a different bug, likely not related to this. So I'll close this again.

@EatThePath has not seen signs of this music bug in a while and is ok with closing this.

Now that 23.0 has been released and 23.2 is on the verge of release, I'd say this has indeed been fixed.
