The biggest issue is that steam is still required to be closed. I do not think this can be fully automatic ever.

I don't see there being much demand for this. I doubt I'd add this personally, but if someone does the work and submits a pull request, we can review it.

We include a tool to back these up now. ( Rclone) which can follow symlinks without an issue.

It is something I want to do. Moving people's saves is scary. It was on the list of things to do anyways though.

No there's no issue tracking it. For new emus we make sure they are moved if possible.
