  1. Robustness and compliance to standards
  2. Ease of build
  3. Price

Summary:

  1. Robustness: must comply to ISOs
  2. Ease of Build: PCB must be as simple as possible so that it can be built without industrial PCB manufacturing infrastructure
  3. Price: the BoM must not exceed 500$.
