mobile - navbar drop-down menu becomes unresponsive

navbar drop-down menu becomes unresponsive after navigating away from the home page (to the projects page for example) - the issue is only resolved on a fresh page load.

tested on MetaMask browser on mobile - no issues navigating to new pages via the navbar - issue appears to be resolved! moving to done.
