Wide photos automatically are left justified in the project banner

Made a project and uploaded an image of size 1140 x 384 px...

In the project banner, the image is oriented to the far left... Maybe we could give the user the option to edit how the image is cropped to appear in the project banner?

The project I'm referring is the one on the right:
