Sponsored site to free Ultimate site permanent conversion glitch

Bug description

I put my site on sponsored mode ready for review and I was interested what adaptive content is and quickly turned it on then off after I saw the pop up, and it triggered a glitch that let me make the site use Ultimate features without the small ad and now I can’t fix it.

How to reproduce

  1. Get a Community Plan then make an eligible site in review
  2. Turn on Adaptive Content
  3. The gray Sponsored badge at the top goes to a blue Ultimate badge and the site escapes the advert for Ultimate features trade off and review Process and only get Ultimate. The site was not even reviewed yet.

I wonder why this happened. How do I fix it?
