How to deactivate roam-highlighter after it's turned on in the page

Hi, I have a webpage (ie. jupyter notebook) which (1) I would rarely use roam-highlither on, and (2)has a conflict with ctrl+x shortcut ("cut the selected text as usual") that I need frequently.

Today I accidentally activated roam-highlighter on my localhost webpage (by pressing alt+x) , and couldn't figure out how to deactivate it. Is there a way to do so?

Thank you for this awesome tool. I use it every day with Roam, and it's been great!

Just simply refresh the page and it turns it off. It only is active for the active page until you go to another page/site or until you refresh the page.
