Text direction for right-to-left (RTL) content

App version: 1.73.9+2182 Device information:

• OS name and version: Android 10
• Manufacturer: Samsung
• Model: Galaxy A6+ 2018

Description

What you'd like to happen:

Right-to-left (RTL) text (Arabic/Persian, in my case) appears left-to-right (like English), and is left-adjusted, both in edit and view modes.

Alternatives you've considered:

I tried using <div dir="rtl"> per this solution—which didn't help.

I know it is not a trivial option, but at least it would be good if one could toggle the text direction or the app detected it automatically.

I just saw there is a debugging option with which I can set English to render from Right to Left. I'll try to use the app like that for a few days and fix the issues I encounter.
