I did not mean that fonts were the cause in this case as it is a scanned file and thus not unusual to see one or two fonts per page...

@kjk AFAIK there were no Annotations (showing ? deleted ?) in the first file it was opening annotations dialog was the problem I cannot be 100% certain the file is...

I am unable to create that issue if I am on page 1 or 2 and ask for ONLY 2 thats what MS Print to PDF will always produce thus...

is it the windows new black dialog or the older one I show above?
