Filter to only show NSFW gifs
A lot of people have asked for an adult content filter, but I want the exact opposite. When you pass 'rating=r' in your query params it also includes all ratings below that (g, pg, and pg-13). I want to strictly filter to only show R-rated images.
This is a great enhancement request - thanks! Let me circle around and make sure that this is not possible with the existing API and if not I'll make sure to pass along the enhancement request to allow for finer faceting on ratings

@rshepherd my business failed because this wasn't implemented. But now I've started another business that also depends on it. I really don't want to fail twice.
@rshepherd I haven't forgotten about this. So much has happened in the last year. It's sad that the world is so messed up in so many ways, and I can't even only show NSFW gifs when I hit the giphy API.
Checking in on this request. Thinking about starting a new business based on this feature. LMK

In all of this discussion, seems like all there's scope to provide a feature where the API only returns results of a specific rating rather than all ratings up to the one selected. I'm going to convey this feedback internally and reach out with an update if any.
