Request: reset trimmed clip to full length after exporting

Open the-spookiest opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

I often have to export multiple gifs from the same parent video, some of which can be 30+ minutes, and there's no current way to return the video to its full length after trimming. There isn't a way to slip which part of the video is inside the trim, and trying to manually pull the trim forward or backward usually just crashes the program. It would be really helpful if we could restore the video back to its full length to be trimmed again so I don't have to keep re-uploading the same 30 minute video every time I need to export another area.

Hey @the-spookiest, thanks for reporting this and sorry for the laggy reply. This is a good idea, I'll add this to internal list and report progress in here 👍

@iby hi, thanks so much! No worries, I imagine you're busy. I'm really enjoying Gifox, it's much better than any other gif generator I've used and I appreciate that it's a one-time purchase. It would be really cool to see new features added (maybe some color/contrast controls?) but it's already doing everything I need it to.
