How to "blur" part of a GIF

Is there a way to blur part of the GIF?

I wish to have this feature as well. It's easy to blur a screenshot, but hard to blur a gif at certain sections.

Use case:

I want to illustrate an issue on a login form using a GIF, but I have to use real credentials for it to show the issue I try to illustrate. Luckily the password field shows only dots (which is really essential anyways), but I ended up exposing my login email. I wish there was a quicker way to hide my email than creating an alternative account with a trash mail or using just screenshots instead.

I would love this feature too. I write documentation involving API keys pretty frequently so it would be very nice to be able to blur the keys in one gif instead of having to take a ton of screenshots, which then clutters up the docs.
