Hi Caleb, after the first disappointment ("what kind of joke is that plugin that leaves me with hours of work merging hundrets of books manually") I was glad to find...

This started some months ago and is still present in recent version 4.6.54: When I search a folder for a term (i.e. "Paul") for the first time, everything is okay....
