Expansion IO support

It seems that there are issues with expansion IO modules, e.g. the datel midi cartridge, or the FM-YAM, working with the ultimate 64 (I am using the latest U64 Elite rev and firmware)

Does specific compatibility for these need to be added or can this be solved with a generalized solution

The Midi cartridge I think is an important one because I think people may be intending to use this as a synth module, Datel and Kerberos being the most commonly used

For example, if I use cynthcart from either an external sd2iec or internal d64 (usb) the midi cart is not detected. The exact same setup works perfectly on a normal Commadore 64

i am having the same issue with 64NIC+ and Link232 WiFi. i/o does not seem to work but ROMs do. Radar Rat Race cartridge works just fine.

i even plugged in a U2+. "Run cart" .crt files work fine but ACIA modem support does not.
