Frequently get an error DISK ID MISMATCH doing RUN DISK option

If I have already loaded and used a disk then go into the cart menu and select a different one and do a run option on the disk it will show 'LOAD"*",8,1' and there is some activity then the the drive light flashes and when I get the status with '@' it shows 29, DISK ID MISMATCH,20,04

I can then load with Shift R/S and that works.

Seems like changing the D64 image isn't behavior properly.

I am on the Ultimate II+L with the 3.10e (11C) firmware.

I tried but couldn't reproduce it on U2+ 3.10f Are you using Jiffy rom for both C64 and 1541Drive? You run the first disk with the RUN DISK option? You also run another disk with the RUN DISK option?
