Describe the bug

I used to be able to see my Java skin and cape when I logged in through bedrock but now I just get a set default skin that I’m stuck with.

To Reproduce

Setup a geyser server on velocity into a purpur server

Expected behaviour

Show my Java skin and cape

Did you set up Floodgate on all backend servers with floodgate data sending?

yes i have floodgate setup on my backend servers

Please share the following configs / logs:

• floodgate config from proxy / backend (any backend would work)
• log that shows the affected user joining (both proxy and backend) Please use paste sites like mclo.gs to share these.

Looks correctly set up. It also looks like the skin queue has been quite long these past few days, should be cleared up now - if it still doesn't work, I'm not sure what the issue would be

Does it have to do with velocity's modern forwarding? or the fac that my backend server is still on 1.21.4? It didn't seem to work before 1.21.5 either. Just tested it today and it still doesn't show my skin.

It doesn't show up for me on spigot too, using GeyserMC version 2.7.0-b810 commit 91ca77d

edit: i resetup gyser and floodgate and now skins show

i do not see skins and i have floodgate & geyser on just a backend server no proxy

bedrock: can see own skin and java, java: can see own skin but cant see bedrock skin

unable to reproduce, simply stating "doesn't work" won't help much - instead, provide more information, such as server setup, whether this only occurs in specific circumstances, whether linked accounts are used etc

I'm using Velocity 1.21.7 and the backend server is using Paper 1.21.7 with floodgate there along side with the proxy key from the proxy. Tested with my linked account.

I couldn't see anything wrong in the server/proxy console. Let me know if there's something there that could help in the investigation.
