Alternate language version loses styling

When turning on include alternate language pages, the xml sitemap loses it's styling.

Example: https://www.alerisplastikkirurgi.se/Sitemap.xml (without alternate) https://www.alerisplus.se/Sitemap.xml (with alternate)

Googling shows many similar issues related to sitemap + xhtml:lang attributes, for example here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51923627/xml-sitemap-rendering-as-plain-text or here https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/10921150?hl=en

On a first sight, that's a browsers' "issue" as they treat that xml as XHTML document based on xmlns, so they render that as HTML, rather than preview as "styled" XML.

There's advise in a SO question above to use another xmlns, with a warning google won't use such sitemap.

If you try pretty old browser (I used IE11 with simulation of IE8), you can still see "styled" XML.
