How to make responsive?

Thanks for the great theme!

I installed a custom hero image and a custom logo, and I notice the that site is not responsive. When I use a narrow viewport, the logo overlaps the hamburger icon, and the hero image gets skinnier but becomes right aligned and stuck the the right side of the viewport. Should I be doing anything to make sure the site works on mobile?

I notice that the logo and the hamburger icon stay justified left / right respectively if i reset the theme settings, but as soon as I disable the sidebar, they both become center justified and overlap each other.
