Paste as plain text

When copy & pasting from some webpages, it would be nice to be able to "Paste as plain text" to avoid an h2 or h3 being inserted into a paragraph for example (or bold and italic words).

Ideally we would keep the "rich text" paste as default, and be able to right clic and do "Paste as default"

Thanks for the feedback. It works great. Maybe then my issue would be about the "right click" menu that goes with it. So that users that don't know the shortcut might discover this functionality.

i would also advocate for the automatic removal of non-printing characters from pasted content

for those that use a clipboard manager that can run commands on copied text, you can use iconv and perl to clean up the unwanted junk
