[Feature Request]: Option to change default global settings directory on Linux

Open tomgagdotnet opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Feature Description

Installing Publii on Debian causes a "Publii" directory to appear in "/home/myuser/Documents", which is not a desirable behavior (please keep users' Documents directory clean). Within Publii itself there are options to change the "sites", "backups", and "previews" directories, but not the overall global directory. If I delete the "/home/myuser/Publii" directory, I lose all settings, and at the next run, Publii will make go through the license acceptance screen again.

Request: add a "global settings directory" field in Publii's options.

Thanks!
