Bug description

image

I had to move my %UserProfile% off Drive C: due to a failing drive.

Publii now refuses to launch and presents the above error and quits before allowing me an opportunity to choose a new location.

Steps to reproduce

  1. With Publii closed, move your Publii Sites folder to a new location.
  2. Launch Publii
  3. Receive error message.
  4. Profit?

Have the same issue but my Publii install on Windows is looking for a Linux home path and can't start. Freshly installed Windows machine.

Have you tried changing the SitesLocation in Publii > config folder (app-config.json) ?

No because this is the first time I ever heard of the app-config.json file. I have since replaced the drive and reinstalled Publii onto a fresh install of Windows so for me this issue is no longer relevant but I see that others are experiencing this same issue so I won't close it for them.
