White Screens

Whenever I start YoutubeDS all I get is a white screen.

Do you use TWilightMenu++? If so, press Y on the Youtube Icon to open an options Menu. And set the "Start in:" option to either Standard or DS-Mode. If that alone doesn't work, set "ARM9 CPU Speed" to 180 (TWL). That should fix the white screen. But it sadly won't do much because currently the API is not accessible from any DS. This will not fix the white screen on 3DS (At least from what i tested).
