Weird graphical double glitch
There's this weird issue on my 3ds where when I pick a game, a piece of the screen starts to repeat itself. Like say the ground on the title of metroid zero mission doubles in height as a result. This never happened before so what happened then
This is the well-known TWLBg Glitch which is due to some bad coding by Nintendo. However it happens more often after this update so one solution right now is to revert to a version before this update. Metroid Zero Mission shouldn't be affected by using an older version since it has been working for a long time.
I recommend replacing GBArunner2 on your SD card with this build or an older one within the DSP branch since that branch has the best audio: https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200411-210916_76c4bf2_dsp-audio
If that one has issues specific to Metroid then basically try any DSP build older than the one below since that is when the TWLBg bug started becoming more prevalent: https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200412-124827_c7557a9_dsp-audio
Alternatively you can use the latest master (not DSP) which should have less TWLBg glitching, but will possibly have worse audio/more desync or audio lag: https://github.com/Gericom/GBARunner2/releases/tag/v20200812-131430_6e4ce45
