Sequential channel checking

Instead of using random.choice to assign the channel, can the channels be checked sequentially?

I am using a AWUS051NH Alfa adapter and can tune to the 5 Ghz band (the a band), but when I do this combined with 2.4 Ghz, it is a total of 57 channels.

I tested this with a modified channels list (using iw to set the channels works great)

channels = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 60, 62, 64, 100, 102, 104, 106, 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118, 120, 122, 124, 126, 128, 132, 134, 136, 138, 140, 142, 149, 151, 153, 155, 157, 159, 161, 165]

I can successfully receive packets on the 5 Ghz channels, but I would prefer to check all the channels sequentially.

Also, can the time be adjusted so that it stays on that channel longer during a sequential check of the channel list?

I'll have to check the other forks. Maybe someone else already did this.
