[RFC]: privacy visibility icons, names and descriptions
Mastodon is changing the privacy visibility icons, names and descriptions.
I understand why and can see how confusing they might be for newcommers but also don't really like all the decisions taken. It's important to consider moving forwards if we want to stay as close to Mastodon web as possible or follow the wider fedi

My main issues is obviously the unlisted one. I don't think a moon icon, "quiet public" and "Fewer algorithmic fanfares" explain what unlisted is. And it's clear they don't think so either, hence the extra info button.
That not to say that an unlocked lock icon, "Unlisted" and "Visible for all, but opted-out of discovery features" make much sense either.
I like the mentioned-only change however. The previous one did not do a great job at explaining it.
I think the name "Unlisted" should be changed, because it's unclear rn, but those changes don't help at all.
