I don't think I want it to be too much, so maybe just a small unmovable PiP for videos and audio (libclapper, audio visualizer) overlay that stays at the bottom left or top right

Pipeline dev also asked for something like this recently. I have some plans to make such functionality easier to achieve in the (lets hope) not too distant future.
