Unable to delete users from Django admin

Expected Behavior

User selected from the Django user list is deleted; it should disapear from user list.

Actual Behavior

The user is not deleted.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

1. User is selected for deletion and confirmed

2. Page logs out

3. Refreshing, I got green overlay message on home screen: "utente test2 è statato eliminato correttamente".

4. The activity log on the side says the action was completed

5. But the user is still there https://www.geonode-gfdrrlab.org/people/profile/test2

• Additional details: setup and hosted by GeoSolutions. No problem with renaming / adding new users.
