When using wifi & gnirehtet together will all network traffic only go through wifi?

If gnirehtet is enabled, it will go through gnirehtet (at least for the routes provided if you passed some custom routes with -r, cf gnirehtet help).

Ok, how about those apps that require Wi-Fi to work, like Google Play Store? Do I need to tell all these routes to use gnirehtet by using -r?
