MIMARKS checklist names incorrect in LinkML
@lschriml & others please confirm you agree with this?
on the page https://genomicsstandardsconsortium.github.io/mixs/ in the Checklist table, the following two lines are slightly wrong:
MimarksC Minimal Information about a Marker Specimen: specimen MimarksS Minimal Information about a Marker Specimen: survey
These should say:
Mimarks-SP Minimal Information about a MARKer gene Sequence: SPecimen Mimarks-SU Minimal Information about a MARKer gene Sequence: SUrvey
I know the "C" and "S" refer to cultured and survey, but they are not consistent with the gensc.org page or the original publication On gensc.org we use "SP" and "SU", the original publication uses the full words specimen and survey.
On a similar note, was the decision to use lowercase for the acronyms a conscious one? i.e. everywhere else we use MIGS, MIMS, MIMARKS etc. not Migs, Mims, Mimarks etc. Its not a big deal but typically, acronyms are written in all capital letters.
