This term might stay the same, depending on the decision for https://github.com/GenomicsStandardsConsortium/mixs/issues/309 & because microbial biomass can be reported using DNA or Phosphorus.

However, often, microbial biomass is reported as microbial biomass carbon and/or nitrogen. Both values are very important for biogeochemistry & specification should be added.
