Does MIxS have a policy for how MIXS ids (LinkML slot_uris and class_uris) should be assigned to new schema elements?
There has not been a policy written for this, but assuming its directly linked to the creation of new MIxS terms, then I would assume the same theory holds true as was used historically for new term IDs, i.e. the next sequential number.
The issue I would have in doing so would be finding what the next sequential number is? The mixs.yaml doesn't appear to be sequential numerical order, so finding the highest number isn't easy. Could there be a place holder somewhere obvious for the "next available ID is" that is auto updated with scripts on merges?
