SearchLight still seems to lack documentation / a tutorial. Why?

Because only a few people develop Searchlight and the their time is limited. As far as I know Adrian is working on it. To answer your question, yes all databases are used with the same api and query language. Each adapter has to fulfill the same requirements provided by Searchlight itself. And in the meantime you can read the code a little bit. There you will find very quickly how it works. If not feel free to ask any time, maybe on Discord.

@Caelagor I did the last iteration for docs. I am working on it OSS primarily. I would again do the next iteration after Genie5 docs/guides. G5 is happening this week and should take a couple of weeks following it
