I was curious to see what's new in 4.0 (I see basically just one breaking change, so not much, only semver need).
Anyway I looked at the new html changelog, and a) it doesn't render in the Github interface (do you know if there's a way, maybe it and Gitlab should have it). I liked having .md, but it's your call. I also looked at genieframework.com incl the search to see if it's there. I suggest it could be somewhere there. I know how to get the file and view it, but it would be nice to have a link to somewhere straight from the readme, as I tend to go to Github. And maybe have the same link visible at the top in the changelog itself:
b) I dropped the old changelog, again your call, and maybe not too mad for pre-1.0. I realize it's also in Github history.
@PallHaraldsson Thanks - working on these. Trying to make a change log we can use programatically but we could also export a .md file.
We'll add it - in v4 the (potentially) breaking changes were improved support for assets to serve them off CDN and an improved app servers API. I expect most users will be not affected by these unless they relied on hard coded paths to Genie assets and/or directly handled the servers threads.
