[ Android TV] Flick Video Controls does not work with TV Remote when the app runs on android TV

I am trying to build a video player app for android tv. The Flick player works well in TV but the Play , Pause operations are not happening with the help of TV remote.

I need this as well , support for remote control events. I expect that I could also scrub through the video progress bar and be able to mute.

I have made my own tv control on top of flickportrait controlls with the help of flutter's rawkeyboard event detector. It works perfectly fine on TV.
