Modify yarn UI to display all the initial author's self-replies as the "primary" content
The typical method a user creates a "thread" on twitter is by replying to their own tweet multiple times, creating a continuous thread readers can follow.
We aim to improve that UX with the Yarn view. However, in the yarn view there is a single Mew that is displayed on the top of the page as the "primary" content, while all other content is displayed in the "responses" section.
Perhaps it makes sense to display all replies by the original mew author in an un-broken sequence at the top of the page as "primary" content. Then any other replies are displayed in the "responses" section.
This may not be necessary or useful since we are removing the character limit, and will allow inline text replies as part of #112
To me, the Yarn idea goes just that little bit further than being a better thread, in that I might make a Mew like I would any other mew and then afterwards choose to add it to an existing Yarn. So I don't see it as "strictly replies to an original Mew but with a better interface".
So I'd do away with the mental model of reply here and think of each Mew that gets added to a Yarn as simply an entry of sorts in that Yarn.
Perhaps it makes sense to display all replies by the original mew author in an un-broken sequence at the top of the page as "primary" content. Then any other replies are displayed in the "responses" section.
I second doing it this way. People can reply to the Yarn, which shows up in the Yarn responses, but also reply to the specific Mew which doesn't show up in the Yarn responses.
