Console not working

first of all this visualizer is the best ever. however if i try and use it with necrobot 0.9.7 or older versions everything works except the console part ? no matter what i try it doesnt show anything. any tips to get it working ? the console does work with the new necrobot2

It won't work with 0.9.7 or older because console support was just added to 0.9.8+. The older versions did not send out the console log to the gui.
