edX stuck in infinite loop and does not load any course. image

Yes, and I have the same problem. If there are courses in the profile - the borg falls into an infinite wait, if there are no courses in the profile - an empty window is immediately displayed.

i've tried uninstalling adobe air and borg completely, rebooted and reinstalled. the issue still persists. coursera and others works

Edx has made some changes to its site.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, I am working on a full rewrite of borg, that will be better maintainable.

Until then please have patience.

Gautamji do you have any prevision about the time needed for problem resolution? I need to download video matherial of some courses that will be soon archived. Thanks for your work if you need some help for a fix on the current version just ask

The current version's code is not sharable, as this project started out as a small script for myself and just grew from there, and I never refactored it for maintainability. I am working on porting it to python, and planning it all out from scratch this time, so that it will be easier to maintain. If I try to patch the current version, it will take me at least a week, and I have been swamped with other projects right now, which I hope will help me make ends meet.

I will try my best though, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Gautamji don't worry about maintainability, I think I can fix it in just a few hours of work so everybody can use it also for edx courses while you work on porting it to pyhton

Sorry to say this, but my code is a mess. It will be much easier to make a small script in python to download edx courses until borg is ready. you can use this : https://github.com/coursera-dl/edx-dl as a base or fork it, if it is not working already.

Thanks Gautamji it works fine, it has just a little problem with the subtitles of some courses video but it's nothing so essential
